went camping on friday night. well, not really a camp but had bbq in the evening and played, talked, sang all the way till 12am. lol.. the other kids slept at 2 but i went hm with mum and dad coz i was sick and they wanted me to have a good night's rest. woke up at 7.30 am on sat to go back to the campsite. the kids slept at 2 but didn't really sleep either. the parents...woohoo..played and joked the whole night.
when i reached there, the kids were in the sea catching fish.. joined in too. caught a no. of catfish but only 3 guppies.. the guppies were hard to catch... we got a plastic bag and they travelled together so it was easy to spot them but hard to catch. they swam really fast and it was almost impossible to get them. nevertheless, we caught 3. left them on the shore.. shua kicked it and all the catfish and guppies swam away...but cant scold him, he's only 2. so we were all taking a break when we saw this wooden plank. clarise flipped it over and gretel saw a black crab. i immediately used my plastic bag to scoop it. haha then we had a 'crab appreciation' time.

here's a really long post on what i've been doing for the week..
sat: ate dinner with cousins are sarpino's pizza. after that, went to the night safari. wow! 'singapore's night safari is realy high tech and man-made. ivy(cousin) once worked at the night safari and she did all the introduction and explanation. walked all the trails which took abt 1.5 hrs.
found out many interesting things like where expensive coffee comes from. you won't want to know that. it's disgusting!
enjoyed it. very relaxed and talked all the way. had a tour guide ut forgot his name. really nice and kind. joked with us and he managed to get free tram tickets for all of us. woohoo! watched the animal show- they rebelled. naughty, really naughty
ivy treated us to ben and jerry's.:)
sun: went to church with my cousins and after that fetched da-bo to another church. after that went to da-bo's house for house-cleansing ceremony. he's been a buddhist for all his life and now he's finally a Christian. the pastor took all of the statues in the house and threw it away..da-bo then gave a testimonay on how he became a christian.
went back with my cousins - xuan wen and liyuan
mon: went to watch bee movie for the second time with all my cousins at vivo..haha that's a movie i recommend. you can have a good laugh there. the whole cinema was really big but empty too so we could lie on the seats if we wanted to. went to sentosa after that. esther, josh, choog, lyd, caleb, debbie and jon took the monorail in while xuan wen, liyuan, xiaojing and i took the car in. went cycling and relized that the bicycles in sentosa was lousy.. all of us fell as the floor was really slippery. very litte trails though so we just went our way. after that, went swimming in the sea and played water polo..haha i was the catcher and josh was the defender. couldn't catch the ball:( he's too tall
haha..went to the fountain that looked like a pool to rinse and play with the water splashing out at us. played captain's ball aft tht. lol..met this funny indian family. they were fm india and they said that we looked interesting and took a few pics with us! lol
talked for the rest of the time..and played the luge ride and skyride twice. it was night time alr which added on to the thrill. had a mini race down. didnt win though.:( went for supper at makanplace near the esplanade.
ordered lots of food and went back at abt 12 am
tues: we went kayaking and sailing at the SAF yacht club!:)
had fun! but the procedures to get the kayak and sail boats were really slow. in the end, we got 2 double kayak and a single kayak. xuan wen went on the single kayak, liyuan and i went on the double and josh and jon went on the other double kayak..
haha couldn't coordinate at first but it was much better at the open sea. jumped in willingly and haha something really funny happened but i shall nt say it..it's embarassing. haha..took turns to try the sail boats..
went with licensed "sailors" of course. was boring though and got really bad fibre glass cuts. all of us!! ouch!*
ate dinner.uncle ashley allowed the kids to order whatever we wanted. it was fun..went to weekee's house and performed a piano piece. everyone did and went to slp.
wed: went to wild wild wet with cousins. met a few of my schoolmates. wild wild wet's not as fun as i thought.very little games.. tried all the games there..and then took a train with them back to west coast..from pasir ris to clementi- abt 23 stops
this is fun..went back and all the osts were sleeping except jon, josh, esther, choog, xuan wen, liyuan and me. played uno..and talked almost the whole night.
thurs: went visiting with everyone. uncle khim hwa wanted to show uncle ashley his new office at pasir panjang wholesale centre. liyuan and i didnt want to go. stayed in the car and talked. soon josh and esther came in and nt long aft, jon and caleb came in. talked rubbish and played..ate a heavy lunch at 230 and forced to eat another heavy dinner at 530..so full!:(
went vivo at night. the kids shopped together and liyuan almost lost her phone..but we found it in the end.. ate ben and jerry's ice-cream, took pics and went home. everyone did their own stuff until 1 am and played twister until 2 am. spent another hour laughing and pillow talking. then went to bed. the process was really funny
fri: woke up at 1120 and saw jon and josh looking at us while we were sleeping. played card games, polar bear, 'honey do you love me', water bombs, crocodile and a,e,i,o,u. went out for dinner and fetched them back to chua chu kang. ate AGAIN and talked. let at 1230..hugged each other and shook each other's hands. they're going back to australia..
will miss them! cant wait to visit. hopefully nxt yr..:)

australian cousins are in town..met them on thurs and had lunch with my whole family-the ongs..haha
they've grown so much since the last time i saw them! sat on the same table as them anws..
they're from tazmania..the oldest is esther, she's 16 this yr..nxt is joshua, 14 too and then jacinda who is 13. following is lydia which is 11 and caleb, turning 8 in dec..lastly, deborah..she's 5..
asfter eating, we went to west coast park! whao i haven't been there for lyk 3 yrs alr..haha and saw a manual goal cart..so cool.there are the 3 seaters and 2 seaters..
rented 5 of the 1 seaters..took turns to play..tiring but fun
nxt, we played frisbee for 2 hrs..didn't know how to play it at first but my cousins taught me! haha won in the end..8:13
lots of plans for the week ahead, probably nt the whole week :(
will be gg to the night safari later with all my cousins as well as those fm australia..wild wild wet on mon and kayaking and sailing on tues! cant wait!!:)
xuan wen has 2 star kayaking course cert so she can teach me and ser gin has a license for sailing..will be fun! looking forward..
probably upload pics when mic's back from her holiday.. dunno how to - sad:(
hope she remember the presents:)
